I moved to Montreal to get away from the police state of the US. I had been trying to warn people for 15 years what was happening to my country. Unfortunately, the entire country was full of supernaturally clueless “patriots” like Anonymous101, and look what happened. Get ready to become USA North, everybody.

The people up here, for the most part, are just as stupid, just as convinced that somehow their country is the best in the world, and none of them will figure out how amazingly wrong they were until it’s too late.

I think you are mis-representing.
I am specifically meaning according to the order that you list your description of yourself.
You may well be young – some of the hyperbole certainly illustrates this fact.
You may possibly be considered a Canadian citizen, according to some of the countrymen that you live alongside.
Yes, you do appear to have a hard right attitude/point of view – but, first and foremost
…you are Jewish and seemingly ‘proud’ of your indentity…why though??
The concern of the people who are not in the least bit religious/of same ‘kind..’ is three-fold…
Somewhere in your articles or letters of response there is a percentage mentioned of jewish people only making up 0.002 of the worlds population
…for one so small….you certainly have an extremely loud big ‘voice’ but pleasant and of value to others…I am afraid not!
The second point – every body has suffered prejudice, whether through their weight, height, hair colour/no hair, ethnicity, looks, religion or because of their place of birth…being of your faith does not corner you the only piece of the ‘haters’ market….
and…finally…when will a group of people who were so inhumanely treated by another group of people – more than four decades ago – led by one man, in particular, p lease let this thing rest.
Continually reminding everybody of something that many people like you never experienced/cannot possibly understand, cannot make a very bad situation right.
The continual show of bitterness, hatred, distrust, ultra-protective nature and complete disregard of non-jewish views has led you to believe yours is the only voice worthy of hearing.
The/your people of Israel are PRESENTLY and for a long time now, perpetrating similarly inhumane crimes against the Palestinian people.
The World over non-jewish sees this as continual repression/poor treatment, selfishness, greed, total lack of kindness, complete disregard for humanity and what can only be described as pure/complete hypocrisy…
It is (well past) time you began not to think of yourself as chosen, more, unlikely to be chosen.
If there is a G-d, after witnessing the atrocious way your countrymen – you do feel as if this so…don’t you?? – have treated your fellow countrymen/neighbours, do you r e a l l y think you would be his/her choice??
No, is the answer you are searching for!
It is well past time you view yourselves/each other as a part of the rest of man/human kind NOT special, NOT better and definitely NOT chosen!
We, the rest of us, are not anti whatever you like to refer to it as whenever (you guys) are disagreed with.
The fact is…it is the collusion, creepy, insipid, sly, undermining and calculating zebra sh*t you so continually – at every freakin opportunity – spout about that other people are so ‘anti’.
Get over yourself and do not concern yourself regarding not publicising this recommendation – do try to get yoiself a life/be a better person and do us all a favour…pass it on

Sorry but I have to agree with the last reply. I have worked with the Federal Government for 11 years and recently left and I cannot begin to tell you how the government is continuing to short change me as an employee. I resigned at the end of February and was told I owe them a whole bunch of money from past errors made by our compensation officers. As far back as 2005 and and before they give me my last pay they are conducting a full review. I should mention they did the same thing in 2008 when I left on a MAT leave. They are recovering funds from 7 years ago and this would never happen in the private sector. I have no recourse since the unions are working with the government and have never represented me once when I needed them. No one ever hears about this stuff because it just gets barried but as a Canadian Citizen and former Public Servant I can assure you that the regular workers do not have the cushie benefits the public thinks we have. Basically they reserve the right the take money from us wheenever the want. Worst job in Canada and would not recomment it to my worst enemy… food for thought

I don’t agree with Anonymous (entirely), but I understand his frustration.

If what was reported is true, and the principal did nothing about it, then the principal should be fired (female or not she is responsible for what goes on there and if she can’t handle it she shouldn’t be a principle). The students who made such comments should be expelled (permanently). A complaint should be lodged with the police and the media should have been alerted. Anything less is to give the impression that Muslim students can use their hatred to denigrate, humiliate and scare anyone they like.

I hate to tell you this, but multiculturalism is an unworkable premise. The arguments made in favor of this idea are nothing but pure sophistry. Isn’t Quebec enough of a lesson for you without allowing a Muslim enclave to follow the same route.

I stumbled onto your site while following a story regarding the BDS extremists. What I see happening at Carleton College is beyond the pale. That the College would allow a week to be set aside as anti-Israeli is insane. It appears that Canada has lost its way. What’s next Sharia Law? And don’t laugh, these things are insidious. Take a look at England lately?

From the other stories you’ve posted, I can tell these things bother you. Then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I’m not Jewish, and I’m an American, but I wouldn’t stand for this for one minute. Start a pro-Israel movement. Call the Anti-defamation League. Picket the Dean’s office until he stops this nonsense. Do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING, short of violence, until these troublemakers know they must accept the Canadian Values (if there is such a thing) or leave the country. That not asking too much. When in Rome…………..
